WaTER Towers Component 1

Component 1 is coordinated by the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources through a Technical assistance have been contracted to strengthen the Ministry and County Governments with knowledge, skills and approaches to coordinate restoration, conservation and management of water towers.
The Ministry through its Principal Secretary chairs the National Programme Steering Committee which is the highest organ responsible for providing policy guidance and makes decision on matters of national and international importance. The Ministry also provides the links between the Programme, European Union and the National Treasury.
