Environment PS visit to KEFRI

The PS for Environment and Forestry Ms. Susan Mochache has today visited KEFRI headquarters to farmiliarize herself with the institute's activities. The PS addressed the staff and visited some of the key laboratories supporting forestry research. in her speech PS Mochache has praised KEFRI management and informed staff that the government is relying upon the scientists and support staff to fulfill the initiative of planting 2 billion trees by 2030. "Each one of you is important, in your area of service provision, support one another so that the goal of this institute is achieved," she said. Mochache promised to champion for the institute's visibility, noting that KEFRI is undertaking significant research and its key achievements should be made known nationally, regionally and globally
