Proffesional Achievements

1. Successfully initiated Integrated Management System (ISO 9001 & 14001) and led the institute to certification and implementation of both EMS and QMS
2. Coordinated the Performance Contract Secretariat that led to achievement of “excellent score” in government performance contract evaluation for the first time in KEFRI
3. Led the Institute to acquiring 1st position in 2017 and 2022 ASK Tradefair show for demonstration of best Environmental and Quality practices
4. Successfully inducted over 500 students and stakeholders to raise awareness of both EMS and QMS implementation
5. Successfully and most actively represented the Institute in various national and international collaborations including participating in steering committees such as National Environment day steering committees, National wetlands day, Environmental conference steering committee and EMS P-twinning collaboration between Japan and Kenya through KEBS
